John Muir said "Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in where nature may heal and cheer and give strength to the body and soul."
Photography allows me to center my life on witnessing nature's strength and beauty. When I am out in the field with my camera time is slower, the light is crisper, and the rocks, trees and contours of the land whisper their secrets! In releasing the camera's shutter to capture the rare and stunning moments that people seldom see, the unique power that only comes from nature, enters through the lens, to create an image that I hope conveys to you that same awe and inner stillness that washed over me.
